Linguas runs language exchange and social nights on Tuesdays at Father’s Office QV and Thursdays at Asian Beer Café from 6pm to 10pm, plus a more party-focused Saturday event at Alfie’s Bar from 6pm until late.

Does Linguas still run at Diesel Bar?

No. Linguas no longer runs events at Diesel Bar. Diesel Bar was a previous venue.

What happens at the Linguas Saturday party?

The Saturday event at Alfie’s Bar is more party-focused than the Tuesday and Thursday events, with social games, beer pong, karaoke, table tennis, Mario Kart, music and dancing from 6pm until late.

Can I come to Linguas alone?

Yes. Many people come alone. New attendees can come to the host or reception table, collect a wristband and ask where to start.

Linguas runs recurring language exchange and social events across Melbourne CBD, including our Tuesday and Thursday language exchange nights and our more energetic Saturday social events.

The team works across event concepts, venues, hosting, digital systems, social media, content, partnerships, community growth and the practical details that make it easier for new people to walk into a room and start talking.
