Linguas Australia runs recurring language exchange and social events in Melbourne. The community is designed to make it easier to practise languages, meet international people, make new friends and feel more connected to the city.
You do not need to be fluent in another language to join. People come to practise English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and other languages — while many simply come because they want to meet new people.
Coming alone is normal. First-time attendees can visit reception, collect a wristband and ask the hosts where to start.
