Event Rules & Guidelines

• You must either buy a drink or food from the bar or pay $3 before receiving your country flag badge.
• The flag badge must be worn at the event and returned to the reception before you leave.
• This is a language exchange event. Please respect the event’s purpose and engage in language exchange.
• Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
• The bar manager reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises if necessary.
• Respect Conversational Boundaries: Engage with others respectfully and allow them to express themselves without interruption.
• Language Practice Etiquette: Try to alternate speaking in both languages when possible to ensure a balanced exchange.
• Be Open to Diverse Cultures: Respect everyone’s background, and avoid sensitive or controversial topics.
• Respect Personal Space and Consent: Avoid physical contact unless the other person initiates or shows they are comfortable.
• Keep Conversations Friendly and Inclusive: Avoid forming exclusive groups and welcome everyone to join in.
• Keep the Area Tidy: Dispose of waste properly, and avoid leaving personal items unattended.
• Follow Staff Instructions: Respect any guidance provided by event organizers or bar staff.
